Why does my piano sound different in the summer?

Well, your piano can absorb some of the moisture into the hammers and that can make the piano sound more mellow. Sounds right, eh? Summer time – everybody’s more mellow – and so it is with your piano. If you don’t like the new laid back sound, consider a humidity system to keep the hammers nice and consistent.
